Chris Reid Memorial Trophy…….This award, for outstanding services to tennis, went to Darryl Wheeler. Darryl is chairman of East Glos Club and the award was in recognition of his commitment to the club and the time and energy he devoted to delivering the club facility project.
Club of the Year…….Cam & Dursley Tennis Club
(Runners-up: Beckford Tennis Club & Hill & Valley Tennis Club)
All three clubs are to be congratulated on delivery in the following areas:
1. Commitment to their club junior programme.
2. Club committee and coach working closely together.
3. Growth in membership.
Cam & Dursley particulary had a growth of nearly 50 members over the last year.
The winning club received £500 and the Club of the Year Trophy and the other clubs £250 to be spent on junior development.
